Heh, I guess those shades were provided by the dentist. The heart-shaped ones are nice, and the playful design does evoke positive feelings at the dentist's office. Well, I suppose it didn't matter that much - from the sound of it, Gwen was very cooperative with the dentist.

A very nice step indeed. There is nothing wrong visiting the dentist for checking. We should do that to prevent problems or it will be too late to cure.
